Listening Guide

This section will feature the cream-of-the-crop, the best of the best when it comes to unitedcypher productions.  New to the site?  This is the perfect way to get an introduction to what we do!

"unitedcypher presents" is our show of other shows like Anime Alphabet and Fallout Forecast as well as older improv radio where nearly anything can happen, though it's mostly a compilation of our collective life experiences mixed with a bucket of lies and half-cocked accents.

Anime Alphabet Series Wrap-up

The end of this series a good place to start.  Join Evan and DeHart as they reflect back on the completion of this 6 month project with special guest Cheats.  They relive some of the ups and downs of titles covered during the run of the show and serves as a good preview before going back and starting from the beginning.

The Mysteries of the Universe are unveiled!  Join ex-scientist and Poleitsher Prize winning war correspondant Paul Miller as he interviews a war veteran who was allegedly abducted and brain-raped by aliens, the publisher and co-author of a book on the aforementioned brain-rape, and a skeptic who thinks that both of them are denying the truth.... About Spacesquatch!

"Motion Picture Meltdown" is a movie review podcast without the sponsors or the prestigious hollywood trappings.  It is produced by Stephen and hosted by Stephen, Philip, Cheats, and DeHart along with the occasional guests.  It's a fast paced show that's hilarious from start to finish.

Ep 139 - The Safe Word Is Banana Pudding!

Welcome back to Not-So Superhero September for Motion Picture Meltdown! We continue our theme with a couple of crappy super-hero movies from the 90's. Phil, DeHart, and Stephen get together with Joel Mengel from The Pod People Podcast once again to roast through Sam Raimi's Darkman as well as Blankman.

Ep 206 - I Murdered Your Father, Wearing Your Father.

This week we kick off the new year by roasting through a couple of John Woo action "classics" from the 1990's. We go over the 1993 hit starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Hard Target as well as John Woo's follow up from 1995, Face/Off.

MPM: Ep. 313 - What About Belial?

Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! I pick the movies this week and decided to hit us with some perfect podcast flicks. We roast through a couple of 80's monster movies, Basket Case and The Terror Within. In this episode, you'll hear us discuss our favorite "tiny movie monsters", we talk about how annoying it is that so many movies rip off Alien, and how sometimes mutant meatball brothers need some love too. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 292 - Christmas SurPRICEs

The Holidays have arrived! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! Historically, December is a month where we let our listeners choose a shit-show of movies for us to torture ourselves with. This year, we've decided to try something new. Each week in December, three of us come together and decide on a gift of movies for the other co-host. This week, Dehart, Cheats, and Phil picked movies for me (Stephen). In this episode, we roast through Dead Heat and Game Over(3615 Code Pere Noel). You'll hear us come up with our own creative Christmas weapons, we talk about the benefits of having three noses, and wonder if Home Alone was Game Over first. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 282 - The Land Down Under!

Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! Dehart picks a couple of Australian movies for us to watch this week, one based on the The Most Dangerous Game, called Turkey Shoot as well as a lesser-known 80's creature feature, Razorback. In this episode, we create our own Australian deadly Cryptic animals, Phil does really terrible Aussie accents, and we definitely don't promote downloading things illegally. Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 278 - Wally Winka's Wax Factory

Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! Dehart brings us back into the horror realm (sort of), and picks the movies for us this week. In this episode, we roast through Waxwork and it's sequel, Waxwork II: Lost In Time. You'll hear us talk about which museum exhibits would draw us in to death, I talk about how much better Waxwork would be if Joe Dante directed it, and Phil has a problem with the everlasting concept of "magic, motherfucker". Enjoy!

MPM: Ep. 218 - Yo, (Insemi)Noid!

Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of Motion Picture Meltdown! I picked the movies this week, as we jump back into the bread and butter (and pickled eggs?) of our podcast by roasting a couple of 1980's alien movies. In this episode, we get our fill of goop while we cover Inseminoid as well as an equally gooey and somehow even more messed up, Xtro. This week you'll hear us talk about our preferred method of planetary infiltration travel, Cheats will complain about goo and terrible movies (again), and Dehart wants to know why there isn't more inseminating. Enjoy!
